Medical Grade Tubing Description

Medical Grade tubing usually consists of tubing that is non-toxic, free of lead, and resistant to chemicals and high temperature (usually as part of a sterilization process). When we talk about medical grade tubing we assure high-tech, FDA and medically approved materials in the manufacture of the tubing. Strict quality is assured and maintained by continuous inspection.

Additionally, we consider medical grade tubing to also include tubing used in veterinary fields as well as tubing used in traditional medical settings.

Medical Grade Tubing Materials

In the manufacture of medical grade tubing we use the following materials:

• Polystyrene
• ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
• Polypropylene (PP)
• High, Low or Linear Low Density Polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE)
• Rigid or Flexible PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
